Paint-In Plus! May 9, 2026

Our last “Paint-In PLUS” for this spring will be on Saturday May 9, 2026. This monthly gathering of artists has provided a great deal of fun, laughter, sharing, learning and painting and has resulted in two communal paintings and several individual paintings exhibited at the current show. Come join us for this fun event hosted in partnership with Ontario County Arts Council’s Open Art program and Finger Lakes Community College. Weather permitting, those who wish can practice their plein air painting by walking up to the town gazebo a block north to paint outdoors.

As usual, feel free to bring a painting you’re working on (or struggling with!) or start something new. Enjoy sharing with other members or ask for feedback and suggestions as desired. The facility has tables and chairs, restrooms, a fridge and microwave, and a utility sink for cleaning up. Just bring your own set-up with table or standing easel, something to work on, and a towel or cloth to protect the area under your easel.  Works-in-progress encouraged or paint from something at the gallery.  Students from FLCC and members of OCAC will join us.

Free parking is available on Main Street, next to City Hall at the railroad tracks, or behind Canandaigua National Bank.

Note that you don't HAVE to register in order to attend, but we do appreciate getting an idea of how many will be there, so come even if you forgot to register! And we welcome non-PSWNY artists of all types (except please no oil paints).
