About the event
Join us for our second “Paint-In PLUS” on October 25 — an event that combines an opportunity for members to paint together in a studio setting PLUS a little something extra! PSWNY is partnering with Ontario County Arts Council’s Open Art program and Finger Lakes Community College at the new art spaces at 32 and 36 South Main Street in Canandaigua (Pat Tribastone’s former gallery). We’ll meet once a month this fall from 12:30 - 3:00. Upcoming sessions are on October 25 and November 15. Mark your calendars now!
In addition to bringing a piece you're working on, you may bring one or more paintings you’re struggling with or would like input on. Colette Savage will provide critique, feedback and suggestions if desired. Colette will also provide guidance on setting up a plein air kit for optimal use in the field.
The facility has tables and chairs, restrooms, a fridge and microwave, and a utility sink for cleaning up. You’ll need to bring your set-up with table or standing easel and a project to work on. Works-in-progress encouraged or paint from something at the gallery. Students from FLCC and members of OCAC may join us.
Free parking is available on Main Street, at Canandaigua City Hall at the railroad tracks, or behind Canandaigua National Bank.
